MEET

TARA

Tara Rai is a certified T.R.E. provider based in South East London. Cultivating a healthy and nurturing relationship with her own body has been at the core of her personal healing journey spanning over a decade across a variety of modalities including Bioenergetics, Internal Family Systems, plant medicines and 5 Rhythms to name but a few.

Tara's lived experience of navigating everyday life with a nerve injury on her right arm (Erb's Palsy) since birth has given her a wealth of insight and empathy for those who struggle to be in their body and feel safe in the world. Witnessing her own transformation over the years has given her faith and confidence that human beings can evolve and thrive beyond past challenging experiences.

T.R.E. stands for Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises. It is an innovative series of 7 simple postures created by Dr. David Berceli that assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma.

The postures safely activate a natural reflex mechanism of involuntary tremors that releases muscular tension, calming down the nervous system like often animals do. When this muscular shaking mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment, the body is encouraged to return to a state of balance.
